Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Sumatra through 4 (four) entrances in March 2021 reached 57 visits, an increase of 235.29 percent compared to those who came in February 2021 to reach 17 visits.
For the March 2021 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra has decreased by 99.27 percent compared to the same period in 2020, namely from 7 825 visits in 2020 down to 57 visits in 2021
In March 2021, foreign tourists from the Philippines were the largest visitors with 8 visits or 14.04 percent of the total foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in North Sumatra in March 2021 reached an average of 37.67 percent, or an increase of 1.09 points compared to February 2021 of 36.58 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels in March 2021 reached 1.44 days, a decrease of 0.23 points compared to February 2021.
The number of domestic passengers departing from North Sumatra via Kualanamu International Airport during March 2021 reached 122,498 people, an increase of 22.26 percent compared to February 2021 which reached 100,191 people.
The number of (domestic) inter-island sea transport passengers departing in March 2021 was 3,193 people, up 5.17 percent over the previous month of 3,036 people.
